Complications due to the use of hyaluronic acid-based fillers may be due to inexperience of the injector, incorrect technique or inherent in the product itself. Soft tissue infections commonly occur within the first two weeks of applying the product. The reported case presents a female patient who underwent filling with hyaluronic acid, on the face, by a non-medical health professional. The patient evolved with signs of edema in the nasogenian region in the third, patient was instructed to make a warm compress and medicated with anti-inflammatory. facial flushing, bilateral hematoma until the twenty-fifth day, requiring the application of hyaluronidase and antibiotic therapy, associated with ozone therapy. She showed a significant improvement in her condition after starting with medication and ozone applications. Despite being uncommon complications, infections of soft tissues must be early and adequately addressed due to the high risk of developing biofilm, which is a more difficult treatment entity. For this reason, this procedure must be performed by a trained professional who has the ability to deal with complications.
