Literature review on dental ceramics

Abstract

Given the various restorative treatments available in the dental field, the use of ceramics as a treatment option to recover the shape, anatomy, function and aesthetics of elements with these needs can be highlighted. Given the needs of each patient, the correct use of these restorative materials have a high success rate and acceptable clinical longevity. The aim of this study was to review the literature on the use, indication and types of ceramics.
