To establish the sequence of therapeutic management of maxillofacial alterations associated with Pierre Robin Syndrome in multidisciplinary intervention, through a literature review between 2016 and 2021. The research carried out for this article is descriptive, establishing as a sample articles published from 2016 to 2021, collected in the PubMed and Google Academic database, using the search terms, Pierre Robin Syndrome, Maxillofacial Abnormalities, Surgical Procedures, Operative, combined with the Boolean AND connectors and their Spanish counterparts. The search ((Pierre Robin Syndrome) AND (Maxillofacial Abnormalities)) AND (Surgical Procedures, Operative) was established as a PICO strategy, which yielded 14 articles in PubMed and 951 articles in Google Scholar. Systematic reviews, meta-analyzes, bibliographic reviews and clinical cases, dealing with Pierre Robin Syndrome and its surgical management, were considered as inclusion criteria. The exclusion criteria were books, monographs, experimental studies; that allowed to obtain articles from PubMed and 29 from academic Google. Each result was entered into a flow chart. Each article was analyzed in its entirety. They were stored in a digital archive. The clinical history, physical examination, hospitalization in the ICU for continuous monitoring, performing complementary diagnostic tests, the conservative and/or surgical approach determined by the level of airway obstruction constitute the ideal sequence suggested by several authors for the management of the maxillofacial alterations of the Pierre Robin Syndrome.
