Fiberglass pins have been widely used by professionals who seek to recover severely damaged teeth with endodontic involvement due to their superior biomechanical properties and high aesthetics. The purpose of this literature review was to compare the bond strength, the effect of resin cement thickness and the technique of making intraradicular fiberglass pins with and without anatomization in relation to milled fiberglass pins in CAD/CAM. The researched articles were accessed in the databases of PubMed (National Library of Medicine of the United States / National Institute of Health), SciELO - Scientific Electronic Library Online and BIREME - Latin American and Caribbean Center for Health Sciences Information. The CAD/CAM milling technique of intraradicular pins proved to be an excellent choice for rehabilitation, being able to produce anatomical pins, with more adherence, thinner layer of cement, less working time and without the need for resuscitation, decreasing possibility of adhesive failures.
