According to several studies, tooth loss can affect general health in several ways. Heads for dentists to prevent the loss of teeth and when they occur, rehabilitate with quality and reestablish an adequate masticatory function. When it comes to implant rehabilitation, it is extremely important to know the longevity they present. As with all types of restoration, implant prostheses are also subject to complications. The present study aims to carry out a bibliographic survey on the prosthetic complications of dental implants. The most common complication is the loosening of the screws and the solution of the teeth in acrylic. Other complications such as fracture of the screw and material covering the prosthesis, as well as fracture of the metal bar, are relevant problems that concern dentists. Conclude whether the literature review on dental implants is an excellent alternative in the context of oral rehabilitation and good planning is combined with treatment without complications.
