Endodontic treatment can be a challenging procedure as in cases of root canal calcification. However, endodontics is contemplated by a variety of technologies and innovations that aim to make treatment efficient. In this scenario, a new treatment technique is included: endoguide. Which with the association of computed tomography and intraoral scanning allows the preparation of a guide that directs the drill towards the pulp canal. Performing a precise and minimally invasive coronary opening, reducing the chances of deviations and, therefore, ensuring excellent access. The aim of this study is to review the current literature on the use of endoguide, as well as its advantages, disadvantages and applications. The endoguide proved competent and convenient granting access to minimally invasive obliterated teeth or in the most challenging cases like in molars and teeth with changes of shape. It decreases the chances of deviations and consequently decreases the failure rates. It was concluded that guided endodontics is a notable evolution in modern endodontics, as it shows applicability in the treatment of complex cases.
