Abstract

As implant prostheses are becoming more and more the choice of professionals and patients to recover lost teeth, be they single, partial or full arch and the choice between a dental or screwed prosthesis still generates professional injuries. The purpose of this literature review is to highlight the advantages, advantages, reversibility, stress distribution, presence of bacteria in the peri-implant south, the components and connections of the implants and the resistance of the practices on cemented versus screwed implants. Methods: The researched articles were accessed in the databases of PubMed (National Library of Medicine of the United States / National Institute of Health), SciELO - Online Electronic Scientific Library and BIREME - Latin American and Caribbean Center for Science Information Conclusion: It is noticed that the structures as techniques and controls, but as cemented prostheses obtain better results in the face of porcelain fractures, distribution of forces and loosening of crowns, however, new ring forces in the intervals and peri-implant groove.
