Ceramic laminates - a literature review

Abstract

This article provides an analysis and a literature review on ceramic veneers. The purpose was to research the preparation technique and the ceramic material in relation to clinical and aesthetic performance. The objective of this article was to review the literature on the preparation process, its details, adhesion techniques, and the potential clinical success of veneers. The final observations report that ceramics are reliable materials with excellent clinical performance in terms of durability and aesthetic characteristics in teeth that undergo proper preparation as outlined in the literature.
