The aim of this article is to report a case of traumatic bone cyst in a child, from its diagnosis as well as the stage of surgical approach linked to the literature. Traumatic bone cyst (TOC) is classified according to the World Health Organization as belonging to the group of bone lesions, and its etiopathogenesis is currently best explained by the trauma-hemorrhage theory. What differentiates TOC and true cysts is the absence of epithelial lining, being considered pseudocysts. The diagnosis is usually made during the radiographic examination, and most of the time they behave as asymptomatic.
