The provisional phase in any dental rehabilitation is essential for defining some parameters for the definitive phase, namely aesthetics, function, occlusion and patient adaptation. The objective of this study was to report a clinical case on the use of bonded temporary restorations made using the transparent silicone index technique. There was a 15-month follow-up of total rehabilitation on a male patient who had severe wear on his lower teeth and was going to undergo rehabilitation surgery on his upper teeth with dental implants and protocol-type prosthesis. Making the provisionals in the lower arch aimed to reestablish the vertical dimension of occlusion and aesthetic and occlusion parameters, until the upper protocol type prosthesis was completed. Resin restorations are an excellent alternative for this type of rehabilitation, offering an ideal condition to immediately reestablish masticatory and aesthetic function. Furthermore, the material achieved excellent physical behavior during the 15 months of follow-up.
