The use of digital resources to support the diagnosis, planning and execution of aesthetic oral rehabilitation

In current dentistry, it is possible to observe that patients' aesthetic demands have increased considerably. Natural smiles, with as little wear and tear as possible, in addition to the possibility of observing the result, without the use of temporary materials, are attractive to patients in cases of aesthetic oral rehabilitation. There are many tools that have been developed with the aim of facilitating the clinical routine, in addition to improving the quality of the result delivered to the patient. These tools are not yet used by all professionals, although they present numerous advantages compared to analogue or conventional flow, but the gradual incorporation of such technologies and the possibility of complementing one way of working with another, has allowed accessibility of digital dentistry by more and more professionals. The objective of this article is to elucidate and explore the advantages and efficiency of using digital resources, in addition to verifying their clinical applicability, as well as the accessibility of such tools in everyday clinical care.
