The objective of this study was to describe functional and aesthetic aspects of immediate-load implants, through a literature review. For this purpose, the present work will use scientific articles, books, dissertations and theses as study material, found in databases (SciELO, MEDLINE, LILACS.). According to this literature review, the conclusions were that the most predictable treatment is type 2 installation.
