About the Journal
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Dentistry (ISSN 2675-4029) is a publication of the Faculdade do Centro Oeste Paulista and is intended for the publication of original articles on basic and applied research, clinical case reports and literature review in the area of dentistry.
Its abbreviated title is J Multidiscip Dent, which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.
Focus and Scope of the Journal
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Dentistry's mission is to disseminate information on the various specialties of dentistry, promoting reflection and critical analysis in the local, regional, national and international communities. Its objective is to publish papers resulting from basic and applied research, clinical case reports and literature reviews in the field of dentistry and related areas.

Quarterly, in volume, number and year format.
Open Access Policy
The Journal of Multidisciplinary Dentistry offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater democratization of knowledge worldwide.
All content of this journal, except where otherwise noted, is under the Creative Commons License CC BY. This license allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform and create from the published article), even for commercial purposes, as long as they give it due credit for the original creation.
Journal History
The Innovations Implant Journal: Biomaterials and Esthetics (ISSN printed edition 1809-2837, ISSN online edition 1984-5960) was published from 2006 to 2014, being continued by the Journal of Multidisciplinary Dentistry in 2009, volume 10, number 1, maintaining the numbering of its predecessor.
Peer Review Process
The manuscripts will be first evaluated for compliance with the rules of publication, and in case of inadequacy will be returned to the authors for appropriate adjustments.
Approved manuscripts will be submitted to the Editor or Co-editor for review as to the scope of the journal. Once approved, they will be evaluated for merit and scientific method by two members of the Editorial Board from institutions other than the origin of the manuscript.
The names of the reviewers will remain confidential and they will not be aware of the authors of the manuscript under review.
When revision of the original is necessary, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for modification.
The information and concepts contained in the manuscript and the accuracy of the references are the responsibility of the authors.
